Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you (the merchant or business installing or using the Service) and Seller Apps LLC ("SourceVision", "we"). By installing the SourceVision app, using app.sourcevision.com, or using this website, you agree to them. If you act for a company, you confirm you may bind it.

2. The Service

SourceVision measures how AI assistants describe and recommend your products, proposes listing fixes (the SourceVision block on the product page and Google titles and descriptions, among others), applies the proposals you approve to your Shopify products, and checks that each change landed. Every applied change is recorded in a ledger. How this works is described on the how it works page.

3. Beta terms

• The Service is in a founding beta. It is free during the founding beta.
• Beta features may change, be withdrawn or behave unexpectedly, and the Service may be unavailable at times. We do not offer a service level during the beta.
• Stores that join during the beta ("founding partners") receive a 50% discount on the then-current list price of the plan they choose once paid plans begin, for as long as they keep a paid plan without interruption.
• Before any paid plan starts we will tell you the price in the app, and you will only be charged after you accept it through Shopify billing.
• We may end the beta, or a store's participation in it, with notice by email.

4. Your approval and your responsibility

• The app writes to your store only what you have approved. You review every proposal before it is applied, and the preview shows every field the change will send.
• Approved text is your text. You are responsible for checking that it is accurate and for its compliance with the laws that apply to your products, including advertising, labeling and health-claim rules.
• The app does not write medical or outcome claims and does not edit fixed product text such as directions or ingredients. These guardrails are a safety net, not a compliance review: a person must still decide what they cannot see.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the facts you give in the app's intake. Proposals are drafted from them and from your existing product content.
• You control your theme. Placing the SourceVision block and publishing a theme are your acts; the app never publishes, edits or deletes a theme.

5. AI output: no warranty

Proposals are drafted with the help of third-party AI models, and research results report what third-party AI assistants said at the time we asked. AI output can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. We provide it without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a purpose, which is why nothing is applied without your approval. We do not control how AI assistants, search engines or shoppers respond to your listings, and we do not promise any visibility, recommendation, traffic or sales result.

6. Writes and verification

After you approve a proposal, the app applies it to the product and reads the product back. A change that does not verify is recorded as failed, not as applied. Each applied change is recorded in the ledger with what it replaced, so it can be reviewed and reversed. No one-click rollback in the app; every applied change is recorded with what it replaced, and support can revert it on request.

7. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes others' rights; to probe, scrape or overload the Service; or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend access for breach after notice, or immediately where needed to protect the Service, your store or others.

8. Data

Our privacy policy explains what the app reads, what it writes, what we keep and what we delete. You keep ownership of your product data and the facts you give us, and you grant us a license to process them to provide the Service and to compute aggregated benchmarks.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software and its documentation belong to SourceVision and its licensors. Content you approve for your listings may be used by you without restriction on your own listings and marketing.

10. Third-party services

The Service depends on Shopify and on third-party providers listed in the privacy policy. We are not responsible for their availability, for changes to their terms or APIs, or for the content of their answers.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or, while the Service is free, to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (during the free founding beta this may be zero). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling revokes our access to your store at once.
• We may end these terms on 30 days' notice by email, or sooner if you breach them or if continuing would harm the Service, your store or others.
• On termination, your data is deleted or kept as the privacy policy describes. Changes already applied to your store stay on your store; they are your content.
• Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, email the account address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States (the courts being the state and federal courts located in Orange County, Florida), and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory protections in your country.
